Our Sourdough Walnut & Cranberry bread is a sourdough loaf made with organic flour, cranberry, and toasted walnuts. A loaf with a thick, golden crust. It pairs perfectly with Brie, Camembert, or Vacherin cheeses. Try it also in desserts such where the walnuts complement pears, strawberries, or chocolate.

Ingredients: flour, levain (flour, water), water, salt, roasted walnuts, and dried cranberries.

Size: 8" long or approx. 20 oz (weight may very as each loaf is handcrafted)

Best time to enjoy: Most flavor is developed during day 2 and 3. It will last for up to 6 days and makes an amazing toast during days 4, 5, and 6.

Loaf storage:

May be kept at room temperature for up to 5 days from baking (if you receive it with UPS, include days in transit)
To enjoy for longer, bread may be kept well wrapped and frozen
Breads should not be refrigerated
To serve from frozen, allow loaves to thaw at room temp and then refresh in 350 F oven

The idea for a sourdough bread bakery was a result from the shortage of real sourdough bread options locally. Emil Hristov was inspired by his travels across Europe especially Paris, France.

Emil's goal is to make real bread accessible to all people in the US. Although this lofty goal is really difficult to implement in a traditional way with local bakeries, it is possible with an e-bakery that can offer shipping nationwide.

It first started as a home bakery where Emil baked in his house in Key Biscayne, FL but quickly decided to open a baking facility in Miami and kept it as an e-bakery. To date, breadsie has shipped bread to all states in the US including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico.

We hope that breadsie will inspire real bread making and baking across the country.
