100% natural pure Aji Charapita Paste made from rare 120 chopped Aji Charapita peppers and a view drops of the finest OliveOil in Deco Glass Jar. The Paste is made of in white vinegar aged Charapitas, Consistance is more coarse, and it is a little tangier than the fine fresh paste we offer.


Aji Charapita (Wild Peruvian Chili Pepper in English) is a tropical pepper that originates in the Jungle of Peru, exactly between and along the Ucayali and Amazon rivers, mainly in the regions of Loreto and Ucayali and partly in the regions of Amazon, San Martin and Madre de Dios.

Wild chili pepper species was thought to be extinct for over 50 years until it was rediscovered!

With Scoville Units: 30000 – 50000, equal to a Cayenne pepper, it is a very spicy pepper with a very distinguished delicious fruity flavor which is amazingly fresh and highly aromatic. This pepper, known as one of the best tasting chilis in the world, is highly sought after and highly valued by Gourmet Chefs world wide , and specially in Asia and in Vietnam where it is known as ớt tiêu.

Every step of growing, harvesting and processing Charapitas needs to be done by hand, and it is very delicate, time consuming and very labor intense.
The plants grow best in tropical climate, and need constant tender care.

These are the main reasons that the Aji Charapita essentially only grows wild and is typically not grown commercially. Because of the difficulties growing this pepper, and being highly desired by many chefs and gourmets world wide it is called the most expensive pepper in the world. Chefs will pay up to $ 25.000 for a kilo of dried Charapitas.

Our farm in Miami, South Florida, one of only a very view, started to grow Charapitas successfully commercially in the beginning of 2020 after 5 years of trials and setbacks.

All Started with a couple, Rosaura from Peru, and her husband Armin from Germany, and their love for good and delicious food and their passion for gardening.


Living in the USA for almost 25 years, Rosaura was missing the distinguished unique flavor of the food she grow up with in the Amazons of Peru by Pucallpa and Iquitos.


Many of the spices and peppers grown in the jungle could not be found outside of Peru, and so Rosaura tried to grow them in the US.


After may trials and failures she was finally after about 5 years successful in growing her favorite pepper the Aji Charapita, the "Mother of all Chile".


Starting with one little plant, the small family farm has now grown over 400 plants producing plants, 200 second generation plants and about 1000 settling.


Every step of growing, harvesting and processing needs to be done by hand and is very delicate, time consuming and labor intense.

That is the main reason that the pepper is not cultivated commercially. Our farm is one of very view in the world who are able to produce Aji Charapita commercially.


This, and being highly desired by gourmets and chefs worldwide, the Aji Charapita is called the most expensive pepper in the world. Chefs pay up to $ 25,000 for one Kilo dried Charapita Pepper! But dont get too excited, you need about 60-70,000 pepper for 1000gr.


After successfully growing the Aji Charapita, our farm has now started to grow other highly regarded pepper, Aji Limo, usually not offered fresh in the US, and other typical Peruvian vegetables and plants.
